Here is my Yahoo avatar. I didn't think the selection was that great. They never have knitting needles or hockey stick to add to the pictures.

Changes

I decided that Van Gogh was too much so I switched to Georgia O'Keeffe. I like her flowers.
I admit that I started this because this is a problem area for me. I would like to thank Librarian DOA for her help and patience with my end less questions.

Thing 24

Thing 24 talks about adding gadgets to your blog. I decided to try the Georgia O'Keeffe. I have tried gadgets for my other blog but had a hard time getting the weather gadget to show where I lived. It kept reverting to some place sunny and warm which is not how I would describe MN in the winter.
I started a blog about my knitting life and learned how to do Library Thing to catalog my knitting books. This blog I started for my library life and 23 Things. I used Shelfari to display non-knitting books that I read. It's been fun and frustrating. I have been reading the blogs of the librarians who did 23 Things on a stick last year and found it fun to follow along. Librarian DOA, Floating Lush, Carol with her nose in a book and Cheery Lane. Since they are seasoned veterans I'm hopping they will help me out when I get stuck.

More 23 things on a stick

Even though I didn't do the original 23 things on a stick I want to give it a try this time.
I already know how to set up a blog, add RSS feeds, and add gadgets.
It will be fun to see where this takes me.
